Visited Ribcraft today in Yeovil. Tubes are cut and hull is out the mould. Decision to make regarding steel or plastic fuel tank before final laying up.

We now sell splash covers and full covers for engines. Custom made to fit engine. They can be either brand free or with text and graphics of your choice.

Spent a good day at the London Boat Show. Useful discussion with Garmin on the new 750s chart plotter. A potential new toy for the boat.

Successful completion of the Arc after 26 days and over 3,200 nautical miles of sailing across the Atlantic. It was an excellent adventure full of exhilarating challenges.

Own Boat Training
As an added benefit you will find that own boat training is generally more cost effective with the obvious added benefit that training on your own craft 100% of what we cover is relevant to your particular needs.
The tuition can take the format of RYA powerboat level 2 spending extra time e.g. on the launch and recovery of your new boat or how to get to grips with the chart plotter that you have on board. We can structure a course for you, addressing the particular areas that you want to become more competent in. We will also spend time looking at the safety equipment that you have giving you realistic advice on what items to consider buying.
Items Required for Own Boat Tuition
If you do not own some or one of the items above, it is advisable for your future boating to have all items on-board at all times. If you cannot get hold of any/some of the items, please inform us prior to your course on 07989699480
In addition to the above On the Water Training will provide Lifejackets, VHF Mobile phone, wet-weather gear (if applicable) |
